This was announced by the press service of the department on January 23.

The delicas were represented by the SBU staff and offered to foreigners "assistance" in obtaining a passport of a citizen of Ukraine. Customers were promised to connect links in law enforcement agencies, the special service said. According to operatives, the cost of the accused service was $ 10,000. The members of the group guaranteed the presence of Ukrainian citizenship in the Russian, who had a temporary residence certificate in Ukraine, the operatives say.

"For persuasiveness, the attackers presented a fake official certificate to the citizen of Russia," the statement said. The suspects were detained during the transfer of the first money amount for the passport. According to the investigation, 2 residents of Kiev became the person involved in the case. One of them was already criminally responsible for the attack on a police officer.

The investigation into the establishment of all the circumstances of the offense and the prosecution of the perpetrators continues, the SBU noted. The organizer of the scheme, together with the accomplice, was detained on one of the capital gas station after receiving $ 3,000 as a pledge. Prosecutors added that the accused seized the SBU fake, uniform, weapons and drugs. The organizer of the scheme was suspected, he was chosen a pre -trial detention measure. Investigative actions continue with his accomplice.
