Bought the estate in the midst of war: Khalimon will be released from the post of deputy chairman of the "Servant of the People" faction
Journalists found that the People's Deputy Khalimon bought elite real estate in Kiev during the war. "If you are a MP and have a couple of extra millions of hryvnias, then you have to help your country. It is your duty. Therefore, of course, the ethical component of this act is contrary to our values and our vision of what the People's Deputy should do during the war. For this, Pavel Khalimon will be released from the post of deputy chairman of our faction, " - commented Arahamia.
In addition, the head of the "Servant of the People" faction called on law enforcement agencies to investigate the circumstances of the purchase of elite real estate and to give it a legal assessment. "If the law has been violated, then it is necessary to punish it," Arahamia added. According to the UP investigation, the agreement was held last June. For UAH 10 million, 300 thousand hryvnias bought a house with a land plot of 10 acres on the Pechersk hills.
At the same time, the cost of the house itself was UAH 6. 5 million, and the sections, respectively, UAH 3. 8 million. According to journalists, he sold the real estate of the Bishops of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine Alexander Drabinko through his brother. According to the clergyman, he did not know the personalities of the buyers, and sold the house below for market value, because money was needed. Halimon himself is not the owner of real estate.
The house was bought by Anastasia Kotelenets, who is almost open. It is known that in 2021 it purchased 45 land plots in the Chernihiv region. The total land area was almost 80 hectares. UP journalists report that Halimon lives in an elite estate on the Pechersk hills.
