"In the worst case - up to 4 pm": why in winter can be black -free without shelling of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation - expert

In Ukraine, electricity in winter can be switched off regardless of the shelling of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation - the whole thing in the generation deficit. Experts believe that the attacks of the enemy have worsened the long -existing problem. Focus found out which cities would be without light first and why.

The People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Energy and Housing and Communal Services Sergey Nagornyak is convinced that electricity disabilities in Ukraine can be without Russian shelling. "Even if there are no rackets and drones, we are likely to have restrictions. I can assume that planned restrictions will be in November," Nagornyak said in an interview with a telegraph. According to the People's Deputy, the reason lies in the generation deficit.

In the warm season, the situation was rescued by solar panels. "Solar power plants give a generation, and it allows us not only to provide ourselves, but even in the daytime hours to export electricity to Europe. At night, too, because we consume little, we have some surplus," the People's Deputy added. The focus asked the co -founder of the Energy Strategies Fund Yuri Korolchuk to explain why electricity in winter can be switched off without shelling of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

There are four problem regions in Ukraine: Odesa, Lviv, Kiev and Kharkiv, says Korolchuk. The difficult situation with electricity has been stored since the USSR. In those years, the construction of a full -fledged power system of Ukraine was planned, but the plan was never realized at the time or in the years of independence. Big cities were in a situation of lack of electricity production capacities. The most difficult situation in Odessa.

The region is "feeding" from the South Ukrainian NPP, and, according to the expert, there is no alternative to the accident. As soon as a nuclear power plant is a problem - in the collapse region. "Odesa may be among the first problematic areas when they will turn off electricity," - says Focus interlocutor. The expert confirms the words of the People's Deputy Nagornyak that there are no problems with electricity in Ukraine in the warm season, but solar panels are here to nothing.

The electricity they produce is limited and not included in the system. According to Corralchuk, there has been no increase in electricity consumption since June. As soon as the temperature drops, there will be frost, people will turn on heaters, which will affect the functionality of the transformer, especially if it is damaged. If there is a low temperature in the winter, the worst scenario is to switch off electricity up to 12-16 hours. However, not in all regions.

On average, blackouts can last 6-8 hours. If the weather is warm-the schedules will remain last year: in different regions, electricity can be switched off for 4-6 hours a day. "In fact, there will be electricity half a day. But if there are shelling, the NPP blocks will fail, then long shutdowns cannot be excluded. Last year there were situations where there were a few days in some settlements the light was switched off," Korolchuk said.

The expert adds that psychologically Ukrainians are ready for the cold winter and shutdowns of electricity, as they have already survived last year's blackouts. "Ukrainians remember last winter and morally ready. With the exception of complex collapse. We do not know the weather forecast for November. We do not know what winter will be. But as the [DTEK executive director] Dmitry Sakharuk said, for two years there is practically no warm winters.

And they have statistics, they know well what temperature has been daily in the last 10 years, "Korolchuk sums up. We will remind, according to experts, the script is not only possible for individual regions without electricity supply for more than 10 hours. Focus also said that, according to the head of the GUR Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kiril Budanov, in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is enough missiles to beat on energy, industrial and military facilities this winter.
