The Teal 2 Dron is equipped with the best night vision camera: what will it help the Armed Forces

The head of the developer intends to persuade NATO member countries to transfer these UAVs to the defenders of Ukraine. The US company Red Cat Holdings assures NATO countries to transfer military drones to Ukraine. About it writes the portal Drone Life. According to the media, this week, a delegation, headed by CEO Jeff Thompson, will visit several NATO member countries to discuss the supply of the Ukrainian army of military drones.

In particular, it will propose to transfer Teal 2 drones developed by Teal Drones, a subsidiary of Red Cat. The official release of Teal 2 is scheduled for the second quarter of 2023, but the developers are already offering it to the first clients. According to The Wall Street Journal, the Ukrainian military lacks drones to identify goals and guide artillery at night when the Russians are trying to break through their defense.

Red Cat Holdings believes Teal 2 will help Ukrainians very much because it has a night vision device. "In Ukraine, most military operations are going on at night, and Teal 2 gives the military the same solution that they need. Teal 2 is the first drone that integrated the best new night vision camera is the thermal imaging technology of the next generation from Teledyne Flir," - Thompson claims.

In addition, the developers cooperate with such large companies as Tomahawk Robotics, Reveal Technology and Immervision, which provide their technology for the equipment of the drone. They allow you to identify objects, make 3D cards and even control several aircraft. Red Cat has already put 54 Teal 2 Customs Border Guard Service, which uses drones for intelligence and surveillance.

In addition, the holding has produced 15 units of Golden Eagle drones for one of NATO countries, designed to transfer the Ukrainian army. "Red Cat wants to do everything possible to provide the Armed Forces with the best and latest American technologies that will allow them to dominate the dark time, which is why this week I meet with European soldiers who make decisions," Thompson said.
