"It is not a formula of peace": Zelensky stated that Ukraine would not concede its territories

According to journalists, Ukraine has encountered the most rigid obstacles from the United States to military support. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky called former US President Donald Trump to share his peaceful plan for the end of the war with the Russian Federation. However, Ukraine will not agree on the conditions if they provide for abandonment of the occupied territories in favor of the Kremlin. Zelensky reported this in an interview with CNN.

"So, if the idea is how to seize part of our territory and give President Vladimir Putin, it is not a formula for peace," Zelensky said after a speech at the UN General Assembly. Journalists noted that Ukraine has encountered the most rigid obstacles from the United States to military support.

Thus, the Republican Party faction in the House of Representatives is hostile to providing Ukraine with any additional military assistance, and it remains unclear whether the Speaker of the House of Representatives Kevin McCarthy is ready to subscribe to additional funding. Zelensky told reporters that he was planning to meet with McCarthy while traveling to Washington this week.

According to him, to those who have not seen the war closely, it is difficult to compare internal problems, such as civil rights or energy, with an existential threat faced by the attacked country. Recall that on September 16, Donald Trump said that if it became president of the United States, he would end the war in Ukraine a day. According to the American politician, it can develop a "just" agreement that will satisfy Ukraine and Russia.
