The event made a ban on blows deep into the Russian Federation, but there is a problem: the analyst explained what the matter is
Oleg Katkov told about the problems with the cancellation of the ban, the military expert and analyst of the portal Defenxe Express on the air of Espresso. Katkov called "inhuman" conditions that at the beginning of the war the partners put forward to Ukrainians. According to these conditions, for a long time Ukraine was forbidden to beat the Russian territory, while, obviously, no one made such requirements.
After that, the analyst agreed that as of today, the event still abolished such a ban, and this had a positive impact on the course of the Russian-Ukrainian war. "It has changed to a positive situation, because it was impossible at all, now it is possible. Now we are acting without restrictions not only in the Kursk region, but we are talking about the whole territory of the Russian Federation," he said. The analyst emphasized the paradoxical situation.
The paradox is related to the decision and real actions of the Western countries. Formally, the ban on long -range blows was abolished, he noted. At the same time, the partners did not give Ukraine the means of damage, which would get thousands of kilometers. Today, the Armed Forces are received for targets at a distance of 2. 5 thousand km. But all the blows - exclusively by Ukrainian means of defeat, and beat not rockets, but drones, heard on air.
"We have only our own means that have a range of up to 2500 km. That is, we do not have Western production, capable of striking at such distances," Katkov stressed. It should be noted that on February 4, the General Staff of the Armed Forces reported a blow on a target in the Russian Federation. In particular, they got a management headquarters, located in the village of Novoivanovka, Kursk region. The distance to the border of Ukraine is 14 km.
The Ukrainian command stated that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation had serious losses of the military who were hidden in the abandoned building in the settlement. At the same time, in January there were several distant arrivals on the facilities of the oil and refinery complex of the Russian Federation. For example, on January 12, a mass attack of Ukrainian drones took place: 200 UAVs reported in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
Following the attack at the Kazan Plant, the Organization (1 thousand km to Ukraine), at the oil depot near the Engels-2 aerodrome (about 600 km), electronics plant near Bryansk (about 100 km). Meanwhile, the Russian authorities claimed that the attack seemed to be used with ATACMS missiles, which received the Armed Forces from Western partners. The locals complained that there were 10 to 30 possible arrivals.
