Developed with the General Staff: The MIU named three levels of protection of the power system against air attacks of the Russian Federation

According to the State Agency for the restoration and development of infrastructure of Ukraine, different objects have different degrees of security, ranging from gabions and big-bags-from fragments of drones and rockets, and ending with concrete structures and specialized structures-from rockets. The Government of Ukraine, together with the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, implements a set of measures to protect energy infrastructure from Russia's air attacks.

This was discussed at a meeting with the US Ambassador to Bridget Brynk, where representatives of profile ministries and agencies discussed technical solutions for different levels of protection of the power system against possible air attacks, the press service of the State Agency for Restoration and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine reports.

Mustafa Nayem, Head of Mustafa, spoke about three levels of energy protection: the first level of protection is the construction of gabions and big beags. These designs are designed to protect objects from wreckage drones and rockets. To date, the Agency for Ukraine's restoration has thus defended 90 objects in 21 regions. The second level of protection is concrete structures built around the main network "Ukrenergo". They are designed to protect against drones and, in particular, "Shahaneda".

There are 22 substations and 63 autotransformers in 14 regions. The third level is missile protection. It provides protection of 22 substations from direct hitting the most powerful rockets. Here the Agency for the Restoration of Ukraine works in conjunction with Ukrenergo NEC. All projected decisions are agreed with the General Staff of the Armed Forces and the SES.

The US Ambassador to Ukraine emphasized the importance of this meeting in the context of electricity and heat conservation in the face of aggressive actions by Russia. "We work 24/7 to help maintain light, heat and electricity in the conditions of barbaric attacks of Russia. An important and productive meeting is to discuss our joint efforts to protect the power system this winter," Bridget Brink said.

We will remind, on November 14 Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko stated that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation did not give up last year's tactics of mass shelling of Ukraine, but this time they decided to wait for "acceptable" conditions for themselves. Earlier, on November 6, the General Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine also told when the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation can strike a massive blow to Ukraine.
