Battle of Kurakhov: The Armed Forces cannot protect against Russian aviation strikes - Bild (video)

According to military expert Julian Repk, the Ukrainian military has no air defense systems that could knock Russian aircraft at a distance of 40-50 km. The Ukrainian military, who protect the city of Kurakhov, are under constant shelling of Russian aviation. About it reports the German edition of Bild. According to expert Julian Repk, who visited Kurakhovo in Donetsk, the Russians beat the city not only with artillery but also with managed airbots.

"We hear from the soldiers here that they have no opportunity to defend themselves from these air strikes, because they simply have no air defense systems that could shoot so far, 40-50 km to knock down the planes,"-said Repke. He noted that 18,000 people used to live in Kurakhovo. However, there are now about 2000 inhabitants in the settlement. Russian troops occur on the city from two directions: from the east from Donetsk and Krasnogorivka, as well as from the south by the coal.

In the north of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are also moving, but there the city is protected by the Kurakhiv reservoir on the Vovcha River. The material states that many buildings, including the 50-meter Olympic pool, have been destroyed in the city. Recall that the Armed Forces fighter Nazar Voitenkov stated that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation can "close in the ring" Kurakhove.
