According to the UK Ministry of Defense, the Kremlin will consider the inability of the military to occupy the Donetsk region as a failure in achieving its maximalist goals in Ukraine. In the summary of the agency on Twitter it is said that on August 11, the Russian media reported that the leader of the so -called "DNR" Denis Pushilin stated that the date of the referendum on "accession to Russia" would be announced after the "full release" of the DNR.
