70 black days of a chaplain exterior. The story of the priest of the PCC, which the Russians were tortured by current, light and cold kick, but not "split"

The Odessa priest Vasyl Vyrozub spent 70 days in Russian captivity (photo: collage of HB) of beating, intimidation, stretching and punishment-this is only a small part of the suffering that the Odessa capeolane Vasyl Vizuba had to endure. At the end of March, the Russians were exposed to the Odessa Capelan Vasyl Vyrozub, who was kept in captivity for more than a month for more than a month. In the morning of March 31, he heard at his four -corner camera: "With the way out.

" And within a few minutes the escorts forced him to undress the burn and in this form was closed for four days in a cold small parking lot - without windows, toilet and washbasin. Video of the Day "I only realized in a day I realized why I was sitting there," the whistle recalls. - Somewhere in 15–20 hours a major and another one who said: I have time to think that I have to tell them - the information I know and allegedly hid everyone before. Well, and they went.

Already on the 2nd day the beatings began, and on the 3rd-they were beaten by a current. " The priest tells NV, sitting in his Odessa house about this difficult episode of the 70th day of captivity, sitting in his Odessa house, three months after his release. Previously, he did not want to share his journalists so as not to harm the guys who are still in his enemy hands.

But now, after the mass murder of the Russians of Ukrainian prisoners of war in the occupied Olenivka in Donetsk region is recognized, he can no longer be silent. Mission Snake Vasyl Vyrozub-rector of the Odessa Holy Trinity Church of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (PCU) and the chaplain of Ukrainian servicemen.

On the morning of February 25, on the second day of the Great War, he was called by the Navy captain with a request to go to the island of a snake in the body of Ukrainian border guards, who were then considered to be killed by volleys from the same "Russian War Ship" - Creer Moscow, the Black Sea flagship. The priest agreed to the mission and took with him two more Protestant pastors and a doctor.

Already at lunch the same day, together with 19 members of the crew of the rescue vessel, Sapphire went to Snake-a place where Ukrainian border guards sent Russian cruiser in a known direction. "I will not say that it was scary for [his] life," says Chaplain, thinking about the beginning of the mission. - I worried more how to do everything right . . . How to identify children [border guards of the Serpent], how to bring them home, how to do so that sailors do not be afraid.

" On the morning of February 26, the sapphires approached Snake. They abandoned the anchor near the island to wait for the Russian survey group. The latter appeared in a few hours: people in military uniform, balaclava and weapons in their hands. The Russians laid all members of the mission and began to inspect the ship nervously. And then - to ask about the purpose of arrival.

“Who are you? What did you come? Do you even see where you came? Are you immortal, or idiots? ” - it sounded from the occupiers. "And I thought and say," Yes, immortal, " - the priest, who was then in the deck and with a cross on the deck. From the Russians, the Safirivtsi found that in fact the Ukrainian border guards were alive and were captured - no one was taken away from the snake. So the ship could return to Odessa. But the rescue mission was no longer released.

Sapphire was pulled closer to the side of the island that almost did not destroy after Russian shelling. The sailors and chaplains were ordered to take a picture of the surviving part and send their leadership: they say, the island was not bombed, and the border guards allegedly "surrendered themselves". It was possible to report the sapphires. But after the Russians, they turned off and captured them.

Even on the vessel, Vyrozub tried to find out from one of the special forces, what would be with them. He answered that Ukrainians either had to release or delay in the Crimea "before the end of the operation" (this is the term of the Russian Federation that calls a full -scale war he started in Ukraine). "I say," Yes, the stop, the operation can be two to three months, and maybe a year, "-tells his debate with the Russian priest.

- And he begins to beat himself on the forehead and, pointing to the cruiser of Moscow [who in April has shot and flooded the Ukrainian military], says: If she is fired, then not only the Umein, but your Ukraine will not. 7–8 days - no more. ” At the same time, a chaplain's smartphone was filled with photos with the Ukrainian Defense Minister, Generals and Photos from the front line in the hands of the Russian military.

And as a "cherry on the cake" - a snapshot with the former leader of the Right Sector Dmitry Yarosh. Subsequently, all these photos became one of the reasons for the abuse of the priest in captivity. Crimea for the next day of all members of the rescue mission was forcibly taken to the occupied Crimea. But not on sapphire, but on the Russian ship miner.

They met the last Russian military lining: two dozen Ukrainian civilians with their hands behind their backs demonstially led them, crumbled on autozaks, and took to the guardships of the Russian Navy in Sevastopol. It was here that the Ukrainians began to interrogate, the priest recalls. They were 3–4 a day - psychological pressure. Then the Russians have not yet used torture. Vyrozub constantly asked the investigators why they were detained and what their status.

"We decide what your status is," he often heard in response and refused to sign any documents. "They really thought they were going to" be able to go, "the priest says. - And at the interrogations many asked about the Bandera. They believe in them so much that they asked "Do I have information where Bandera is?" I say, "In sense?". And they are: "You are what, dumb?" I replied that I know where Bandera, but the whole world knows where he is. " In Crimea, sapphires and chaplains lasted 11 days.

One of the days, they were taken to the Navy, where they were kept by the border guards from the Serpent-those whose bodies were traveling a rescue mission. Already together, about 200 Ukrainians, the Russians were taken to the airfield and put on a plane. The last transportation of illegally held to the Russian city of Shebekino, located 200 km from the Ukrainian border in the Belgorod region.

The filtration camp on the outskirts of the city to receive captives, the Russians quickly spread the tent town, not even having time to surround it with barbed wire. Ukrainians, who were in warm Crimea a few hours ago, were cold - there was a minus 20 degrees outside. "Some of our soldiers were just in a football player, simple trousers, could be in slippers," Vyzhub recalls. - And imagine how these children were put on their heads behind their heads, examples - on the head.

Some lost consciousness. " The escorts met the Ukrainians with dogs who were tapped to accelerate the course of the prisoners to the tents. The detainees were searched, taken away all personal belongings and issued to each number - from that time they had no names. After passing such control, Ukrainians were taken to tents, where they kneel under the supervision of an armed military. Yes, she recalls the whistle, they stood all night until the Russians recorded all the prisoners.

"Everyone was on their knees," says the priest. - I stood in the cracker. Then they didn't care. " The Ukrainians received food only on the third day of their stay in the camp. Here, the Russians continued to interrogate the prisoners, for whom they created a heavy atmosphere with a constant barking of dogs and "work" of floodlights. The chaplain recalls that he tried to support the military and civilian prisoners with Protestant colleagues and collect them every morning for prayer.

"There was no other way out," explains Vyrozub. -I understood that the system of any camp was to separate. Together with the chaplains, we set the task of the soldiers: to return home alive, healthy and intact. This is the task they had to accomplish. And then we will decide. " Sometimes, he recalls the chaplain, the military returned from interrogations despondent. Then the extortion had to be reminded of the task. "Did you hear what task?" - asked the military priest.

And he replied: "home and healthy return. " “Yes, home and healthy go home. You understand?" Said the chaplain. The whistling himself could not be afraid. And too - when I saw the courage and courage in the eyes of some military. "I, the old chaplain, what was already afraid? He explains. - I was charged with this courage, I couldn't be worse than them. It was mutual support.

" The general meeting on the last day of the priest's stay in the filtration camp, a military military with general shoulder straps came to his tent. He, surrounded by his own security, approached the prisoners and recommended as Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation General Alexander Kravchenko. The Russian general was interested in whether the prisoners were fed in the camp and whether they were treated well.

He also stated that the full -scale war began because Ukrainians allowed to "develop Bandera" and that the Russian Federation could not allow NATO on its borders. - Are you correct or wrong pop? - suddenly Kravchenko addressed the Vyzub. "I'm correct for Ukraine, because we have a tomos," he reacted. - And for Russia there is no point in asking, because you do not even have Thomas. "You have nothing to complain about you," the general continued Valiju.

- Because there are balls whistling there, shells fall. And here you are protected by the Russian Federation. After this conversation, the whistling, along with the rest of the prisoners, was taken to the car offices. The latter were taken to a pre -trial detention center in the Russian city of Old Oskol, in the north of Belgorod region. The prisoners of prisoners met a living corridor from the employees of the pre -trial detention center - both outside and inside the building.

In the premises of the escorts began to beat the captives with rubber sticks and rock dogs on them. But when this turn came to pass this "corridor" of the priest, the escorts were frozen. "Military-military-military-and here comes a pop with a cross and a tail," says Vyrozub. - They obeyed: "Yes, father, let's get carefully, here the stairs. " They didn't know what to do. If the military was still beaten, then they did not know what to do. Everyone had a question what I was doing here.

But when I was already cut and dressed in shape, they were beaten and no longer asked if my father. Just beat. " And the exterior jumped and dressed in a black prison form on the day of admission - March 18. So he found himself in Camera No. 48, along with two more Protestant chaplains and a doctor, with whom he went with a rescue mission to Snake in February. For the first time in the pre -trial detention center, interrogations took place 2-3 times a day.

The prisoners were beaten while walking just without any explanation. “Only beaten to hit to show that he is the owner. That's just because, - the priest recalls. - When he was in questioning our chaplain Sasha Chokov, they hit him under the breath and then behind his head - and to his knees. He lost coordination and fell. Then his face was pressed against the net. " Chokov asked the escort for which he beats him. And he heard in response: "It would be for what, it would be killed at all.

" Every morning in the Vyrozub chamber began with prayer. The priests prayed aloud "for Ukraine, for its will, for honor, for glory, for the people, for the victory of the Ukrainian army over every enemy and opponent, for the return of all prisoners. " And when the protection heard "for the will and independence of our country", she began to peel the sticks on the wall of the camera, so that they would be silent and speak Russian. "They had no right to come to us," Vyrozub explains.

- They were only beaten when they were drunk or for walks. Because they were only beaten where there were no cameras - in the room for their staff. " The torture in the morning of March 31, the priest was sent to the punishment for the first time in the pre -trial detention center - naked. They were sent to the so-called chamber-"rubber", the walls of which were covered with rubber material. In a cold small room it was difficult to stay, recalls the whistle.

There was no toilet, so all the natural needs had to be done on the spot. “It was cold that you stood in one place to heat it. It was impossible to walk because of the cold, - the priest recalls. - And you stand in one place, and after 15–20 hours the soles of the feet were not something that hurt, but there was a feeling that they were beaten by ducks. And you already hear that your heels are sore until you bake. You are kneeling and you are already warming. And then you get on the foot again.

Already on the 2–3rd day you catch Galuni. After all, you do not sleep for three days: because you are just starting to fall asleep - you fall on the cold earth and wake up. Dubar is terrible. And you can't stand: your knees also start to bake how much do you stand on them? And you will not sit on the buttocks (but then they sat on them). The more your body touched the ground, the sooner you freeze and you began to shake you from the cold.

" Only 200-300 g of tea was given in the carzer of the Vyrozub. Food was also offered, but did not allow it to eat. Therefore, all four days in the parking lot was hungry. “But how [eat]? - the priest wondered. - You have your hands . . . Someone was sitting there and went to the toilet, you understand what you were sitting in . . . I cough on the second day. Urine evaporas, these acids were eaten by the lungs. " During his stay in the parking lot, the chaplain was driven for interrogations.

He was given a white sheet to wrap up, and was brought into the "escort" room. On the first day of torture, four Russians met in this room, of which three were officers. He began to ask questions, and when he did not answer - they began to beat. For 20 minutes, the Russians struck the priest with a fist in the nape of the head. And then, not receiving their own, they returned naked to the cold carrier again.

“It was said that I could not be standing [in the photos in the smartphone] near such people [Yarosha], such generals, and I do not work on the SBU. What cannot be that I do not work with our "office" and therefore have information. - says the priest. - They did not believe that I did not cooperate with the SBU. They asked what is the meaning in my position [priest]? ” The next day, the Russians continued to mock the chaplain.

Bringing it in the sheet to the "escort", they repeated their questions again. This time, the Vyrozub was questioned by two major, lieutenant and lieutenant colonel. As it turned out later - the latter was the chief of the pre -trial detention center Alexei Gnipov. The chaplain's answers were not arranged again. One of the majors jumped and struck the priest in his jaw so that the Ukrainian flew to the wall.

And then all four, pressing the whistle to the wall, began to stretch it and twist it in an unnatural way, and again strike heavy blows. The chaplain could not stand the unbearable pain and shouted: “Stop, enough to beat me. I mentioned the general . . . ”. One of the employees of the pre -trial detention center began to repeatly repeat: "I knew, I said that Pop was stretched. " The Russians ran to switch on the camera to record its testimony.

- So, the general is the Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, - the story began his story. "Oblichna, overwhelming," said Lieutenant Colonel. - Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Kravchenko . . . Do you know this name? -Well? - So, he told me that no hair from my head would fall, because I am under the protection of the Great Russian Federation.

The boys, I don't know what to do, and how to appear in the bald one?! After these words, the chaplain felt one of the majors weakened the grip, and thought "Lord, worked!" The detention center stopped the video recording, the lieutenant colonel told to finish and went out. And his wards only angry said: "With*ka, this is a lot of pop. " After that, the whistle was released from the torture.

For a while, he was forced to pass the polygraph, and then was already dressed for another 15 days in a single camera. "These 4 days were the hardest," the chaplain recalls today. - I thought everything was already. I asked the Lord for forgiveness and told me to accept. " The liberation of the Russians continued to keep the Ukrainian priest in the pre -trial detention center for the next month. But without such terrible torture.

In April, they released two Protestant pastors and a doctor who sat in the chamber with the extortion. But he was not released. It happened only at the beginning of next month - May 5. In the second half of this day, the escorts went to his camera and told to collect things. In one of the offices, they gave the lounge, put on his head a hat and rewind it with adhesive tape.

In this form, the Vyrozub was sent for exchange: first - aircraft to Simferopol, and then - a truck to the place of exchange in Kherson region. "I didn't know where I was being taken to the last," the chaplain admitted. - I thought they were being taken to the parade of shame on May 9. I thought so because I heard about this parade on their radio. " But on May 6, the captive priest was in Kherson.

He left the truck with the Ukrainian military - he was wounded and without his leg, so the Vyrozub helped him reach the Ukrainian side. "When I saw the Ukrainian flag, nothing else," the chaplain in his eyes. - But when our doctor approached and said "Glory to Ukraine", I could not answer. I have tears flowing. And now they are flowing.

I waved my head and say, "Needless, yes!"
