"On the World Day of the Red Cross and the Red Crescent, we are shocked and upset that the warehouse in Odessa and the mobile clinic of Nikolaev were injured from the fighting," the message reads. Representatives of the Red Cross in Ukraine emphasized that attacks on employees, volunteers who provide humanitarian aid, and humanitarian objects are unacceptable.
On Monday, May 8, as a result of a rocket strike on Odessa, the warehouses of the Odessa Regional Organization of the Red Cross of Ukraine, an area of a thousand square meters, were destroyed. Employees of the organization say that the fire completely destroyed the humanitarian aid, which was there. In this regard, the Red Cross cannot temporarily assist the Ukrainians who need it. The organization is also forced to close several of its projects.
The Red Cross of Ukraine also reminded that the day earlier, on May 7, the mobile hospital of the Nikolaev regional organization was damaged by Russian military military. As a result of the impact, some of the medical equipment, technical equipment and furniture, which were located there, became unusable. The effects of shelling are currently underway, after which the hospital will work in normal mode, but elsewhere. The employees of the organization were not injured.
We will remind, on May 6 former MP Oleg Tsarev told reporters that the Russian army specifically beats residential buildings and peaceful Ukrainians. According to a collaborator, the Ukrainian authorities allegedly "sitting on bins" and the invaders will not receive them. Therefore, the rocket responses are received by residents of Kiev, Uman and the Dnieper. And on May 5, it became known that the Russians fired a group of police officers who evacuated Bakhmut residents.
