About it on Friday, April 5, reports the Moldavian edition of Newsmaker.

The Kishinev Sector Court of the Center considered a request from the Prosecutor General's Office, the Ministry of Justice and the Information and Security Service (SIB) and made the appropriate decision. He established "extremist character of the flag with three horizontal black-yellow-white lines. " Journalists say that this decision can be appealed in the Appeal Chamber of Chisinau for 30 days. The black and yellow-white flag was the official flag of the Russian Empire from 1858 to 1896.

It is now actively used by Russian nationalist, monarchical and patriotic organizations. The publication also reminded that in April 2022, a ban on the use of "symbols of military aggression" was launched in Moldova, for which fines were now provided. However, the exact definition of these characters is absent in the law. It clearly states only one symbol-a two-color black-orange (St. George) tape. In other cases, the police will determine whether the use of a certain symbol is extremist.
