According to the Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, the West does not want to take into account the Russian Federation on their own security. In Russia, they do not intend to restore the contract for reducing strategic offensive weapons until the Western countries change their approach to the Russian Federation on their own security. This was stated by Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov in an interview with Izvestia.

"Of course, the conditions should be changed somehow, the conceptual approach of the countries of the collective event, driven by the United States, in their understanding of our country's concern, in our own security, in understanding its indivisibility," - said Peskov. The Kremlin speaker mentioned that NATO countries and the United States have sentenced Vladimir Putin's decision to suspend Russian participation in a nuclear agreement.

According to Peskov, the Russian president was right when he said that Western countries allegedly "showed" did not want to hear the Russian Federation. Dmitry Peskov also noted that Russia's vision of this situation coincides with the Chinese "peace plan" after the war in Ukraine. "This is a very important outlook in Chinese, which, of course, corresponds to our approach," Peskov said.

It should be reminded that on February 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a message to the Federal Assembly that the Russian Federation stops participating in a contract with the United States on strategic offensive weapons.
