Pleaded guilty: Ukraine exchanged a Russian pilot who bombed Kharkiv (photo)

According to journalists, only in places of imprisonment, Russian military Maxim Krishtop has been almost a year. Dzerzhinsky district court of Kharkiv granted the petition of the prosecutor of the Attorney General's office to release from the punishment of Russian military Maxim Kryshtop. About it writes "Judicial Reporter" with reference to the decision of March 6. The court, at the request of the lawyer, conducted a closed trial in part when the accused gave evidence.

In the public text of the sentence, the testimony of Krishtop is not provided as information forbidden for publication. The reasons for this are not explained in the decision, but at the preparatory meeting the defender insisted on a completely closed process for security reasons for the accused. It is only known that the Kryshtop has pleaded guilty and allegedly contributed to the disclosure of the crime.

The decision to exchange was made the day after the court's sentence, which Kryshtop for violation of the laws and customs of war was sentenced to 12 years in prison. Neither the Krishtop nor his lawyer appeared at the court hearing on the release of punishment, submitting a statement about the case without their participation. The convicted confirmed that he agreed with the request of the prosecutor because it was an exchange. Until recently, Kryshtop was kept in the Kiev Detention Center.

He was also in the Kharkiv pre -trial detention center. Waiting for the sentence, the Russian spent almost a year in Ukrainian places of imprisonment in Ukrainian places. In cancellation of the punishment, the court decided to transfer the Russian under the supervision of the representatives of the authorized body, which is responsible for the treatment of prisoners of war, - the Main Department of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, for organizing and conducting exchange.

On March 6, 2022, two Russian aircraft bombed the Kharkiv Radio Television Transmission Station with eight by airbams with a total TNT equivalent of 2 tons of 400 kilograms. The pilot of the main aircraft followed by the second was Lieutenant Colonel Kryshtop, Deputy Commander 47 of the Bombard Aviation Regiment, in/h 45117. Kryshtop did not refuse to execute the criminal order and fulfilled it. Just a minute after bombing, the Su-34 aircraft was shot down by the National Guard of Ukraine.

The Krishtop was catapult and was detained by the Ukrainian military at about 2 am. On March 11, the Russian pilot Krishtop, who was captured by the Armed Forces servicemen, told that he received orders on the task of blows in the territory of Ukraine on February 23, a day before the large -scale invasion of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The Kryshtop added that if he was not beaten, he would continue to continue orders and bomb Ukraine.
