The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation showed the use of Fab-3000 bomb on Su-34 aircraft (video)

After resetting the bomb from the UMPC, it opens the wings and turns. Experts say that this method is used in all other planning and correction modules. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has published a video that demonstrates the use of the planning and correction module (UMPC) on the FAB-3000 aviation bomb from the front bomber Su-34. This type of corrected aviation bomb (CA) is the most powerful among those used by Russia today.

This was reported on June 14 by Defense Express observers. The authors of the material pointed out that the first use of this type of aviation bombs was declared to the Russians on June 20. At that time, the hospital was in the settlement of Lipka, north of Kharkov. At the same time, the beginning of work on the installation of the UMPC on Fab-3000 was known in March this year.

The video published is most likely shot during the trials, which is confirmed by filming of all aspects of the discharge and escorting of the bomb in flight. Experts noted that the airbot itself was delivered to the air base without the installed planning and correction module. Therefore, the UMPC, which consists of a nasal fair and a structure with a wing and a tail plumage, is installed before a combat departure.

The cabin is installed under the central pilot Su-34, which carries one such ammunition. Moreover, one of the frames shows that the bomb has two detonators in the tail, which are connected by the WMPC wires. "After the Fab-3000 from the UMPC, it opens its wings and flips. This method is used in all other UMPCs and is due to the fact that the" beam "of the module closes the mounting to hang the bomb under the plane," the observers explained.
