On behalf of our country, I can promise, it seems to me, the most important thing: Ukraine, despite the harsh circumstances of the war, will not have lost because of the war. We will finish this war as we need our country, our people and return the safety of our country, our Ukrainian youth.
Our wonderful wonderful generations and your children will always have in Ukraine how to realize their talents, feel like the necessary, first and foremost Ukraine, how to provide a family and how to give education to children. These are all important things, the fundamental things we have to provide and we will provide. I'm sure we will do it together. It is clear that now our number one task is the protection of the Ukrainian state.
I am grateful to all our boys and girls, all our men, our women who are not left away who are fighting for the sake of Ukraine and people who work for the sake of Ukraine who support our defense as they need . And, please, we all have to remember everyone - the names of all these heroic people - and to be grateful to everyone and everyone who gave their lives to protect all of us, our future. I ask now to honor the memory of all the fallen Ukrainians and Ukrainian women. Thank you.
It is extremely important that the spread and protection of the Ukrainian idea, Ukrainian culture is also a matter not only of older generations, but also young people - really all our people. We keep defense, in particular in the information and cultural spheres, thanks to many of our people. And often these are very young people who try to strengthen and spread Ukrainian narratives.
I thank everyone and everyone who does not leave Russian propaganda and tells others in the world what is happening in Ukraine and what the suffering has brought to our people Russian aggression. During the war, Ukraine has not lost the institutional capacity of our education, and this is another very important achievement of our people, absolutely all Ukrainians, all Ukrainian women who have preserved the educational process in our country, helped schools and universities, universities to work.
We must do everything to support Ukrainian communities in the world - our people who are now in other countries. This is a clear task for our country, for all levels of government and also for public organizations of Ukraine - to maintain for our Ukrainian, bloom abroad educational and cultural communication with Ukraine. And one more is the economy. Now every workplace is important. Every enterprise. Every business. Every project.
There are many Ukrainian initiatives that produce everything that is needed today by our defense. The youth who develops, which produces, which supplies drones and rings. Other technological projects and solutions for our protection. All your defensive initiatives and initiatives to protect our country are very important. I want to thank you for it. Thank you! However, we understand that not only such obviously defensive, but every economic project is now important.
All that supports the state budget. Everything that our Ukrainian communities support. Everything that supports people. First of all, it is all for the sake of people. I expect that government officials will treat all economic initiatives as carefully as possible that can really support our country, help to implement such initiatives.
And also I ask to offer such things that Ukrainians and Ukrainians - especially our young generations - have felt more confidence in life, and now, although the war, unfortunately, is still ongoing. But it is important to implement right now. Today, we already have government programs that work and work more actively in the interests of young people. In particular: first.
In the current state program "Eosel" will be provided for young Ukrainians and Ukrainian women under 25 years of reduction of the first contribution to 10% - in the fall the appropriate program should work. This is really a good mortgage program. It provides 3% per annum for military, doctors, teachers, law enforcement officers and 7% per annum for other categories. Second. Since September, a new grant program for their own business for Ukrainians and Ukrainian women under 25 will be launched.
Is the creation or development of one's own small business. We start with grants of 150 thousand hryvnias to the first projects. All details will be presented by our government. And the third. Education, educational grants. September support program will also work since September. We will gradually increase the fullness of the funds of this and other relevant programs for supporting our Ukrainian, young people. There should be many more programs.
