Everyday terror deserves more pressure on a terrorist: Russia must respond - Presidential address

Dear Ukrainians, Ukrainians! I want to thank all the leaders, each of our partners, who today expressed support for Ukraine after the next missile strike: Ballistics in Kiev, people are, unfortunately, the dead. My condolences. Damaged houses, St. Nicholas Church. There are also damage to diplomatic missions - they are all located in one office building. Albania, Argentina, Palestine, Northern Macedonia, Portugal, Montenegro.

Obviously, such madness should not be perceived by the world as something familiar - everyday terror deserves more pressure on the terrorist. Russia must respond, and even if they are governed by an inadequate person, the Russian state must feel what reality is and how reality can punish international criminals. More sanctions against Russia are needed.

I also want to thank all partners of our country who respond to this and other Russian shelling readiness to provide more air defense systems, more weapons that can protect against terrorists. Now we have returned from Brussels with new Air Defense agreements. Germany has already transferred an additional IRIS-T system-thank you. We will respond to Russia and strikes in all other cities - today the Russians have carried out another barbaric shelling of Kherson.

In general, we see the activation of the occupier in the Kherson direction. I would like to thank the units that stand for our positions. The attempts of Russian movements were reflected there. He also reported to me today about other areas of the front - both Donetsk region and Zaporizhzhya. Particular attention is a fighting action in Kurshchyna: more and more there are destroyed North Korean soldiers.

And this is significant that Russia is trying to issue these North Korean soldiers for representatives of national communities living in Russia itself. This is the complete disregard for Moscow to the indigenous peoples and to the Koreans themselves. And one more. Today there were some important meetings here in Kiev. There was a meeting of governments of Ukraine and Lithuania.

The new Lithuanian government for the first time in Ukraine immediately after its appointment, and this is a clear priority of Lithuania for alliance between our countries; We appreciate it in Ukraine. He also spoke today with the Czech President, including how to increase the supply of shells and production of weapons for our defense. And today, with our diplomatic team, they approved a list of new Ukrainian ambassadors. I have agreed more than 30 decisions.
