Ukraine expects that at the Global Peace Summit, which will take place in Switzerland on June 15-16, leaders of countries from all continents of the world who respect international law and principles of the UN Charter will be attended. The head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak said this on the air of the only news. He stressed that the basic idea of ​​the global peace summit is to return to the principles of international law that can protect any country from aggressors.

It is this approach that should dominate international relations. “It is necessary to return a just peace to Ukrainian land, to return respect for international law, to the charter of the United Nations. And, of course, the consolidation of responsible countries on the further support of Ukraine and the fact that all these countries are interested in the war today, ”Andriy Yermak said.

The head of the Presidential Office noted that the concept of just peace is not only the cessation of war, but also the restoration of territorial integrity and sovereignty, the return of all Ukrainian prisoners and illegally deported children. “It is important for Ukraine that the maximum number of countries is present at the Global Peace Summit.

Therefore, everyone is involved: both the government, the Parliament, and the President's office - everyone work for the world to talk about the Summit of Peace and urged the leaders to participate in it, ”Andrey Yermak stressed. According to him, in particular, China's participation is very important. Therefore, diplomats at all levels work to make representatives of this country join the Global Peace Summit.
