Russia has launched a campaign from disrupting mobilization in Ukraine - CSC

According to experts, fakes with false interpretation of visual materials are used within the campaign. It is also connected to pseudo -experts, which spread rumors in social networks about the illegality of mobilization in Ukraine. Russia tries to disrupt mobilization in Ukraine and conducts massive misinformation attacks through Telegram messenger. About it reports the Center for Strategic Communications.

In particular, on February 17-18, another powerful information attack of Russia was recorded on the social network. "It is established that four dozen accounts have been used to the mailing, which placed more than 720 of completely identical ads-these profiles have photos borrowed from photostones or social networks, and have already been used earlier in Russian bots,"-the message reads. Until February 17, all these works were distributed ads that were designed for Russian audience.

"In particular, the most productive of these Yegor Pelevin, which accounts for more than 10% of messages. He advertised a mining company from Irkutsk, remote work in Russia and Telegram-channel with an adult convention," the CSC reported. The Center also stated that the Russian special services had made considerable efforts to disrupt the mobilization in Ukraine after Vladimir Putin announced a mobilization in Russia, which contributed to the mass departure of Russians from the country.

This is done in order to show the Russians - in Ukraine cases are even worse. It is reported that manipulations use some real disadvantages and historical injuries of Ukrainians. The purpose of such a campaign is: "It should be remembered - counteracting mobilization, as well as counteracting the strengthening of Western military assistance, is an organic part of the war against Ukraine. This should be taken into account when consuming content on social networks," the text reads.

We will remind, on February 19, a member of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on national security, defense and intelligence Fedor Venislavsky informed that he was awarded a summons at the gas station, but representatives of the military enlistment office in violations did so.
