Daragan said she was watching the rapid integration of women into the army in the conditions of a full -scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine. "Today, women are everywhere - keeping a rear, working in difficult positions, fighting in the Armed Forces. They prove that people need to be evaluated by their capabilities, efficiency and reason, not by article," she said.
Daragan also noted that in 2018 women were able to serve in combat specialties, but this feature remained unfulfilled for them for a long time. "There was also an order with the DSK stamp, which regulated officer positions for women and men separately. In 2022, after the change of this order, it was possible to overcome these obstacles," she said. Also, according to Daragan, it was possible to improve the level of material support of women servicemen.
For example, in 2023, a summer women's military uniform appeared, although only a parade was available. Earlier it was reported that a recruiting function will soon appear in the Reserve+. Deputy Minister of Defense Kateryna Chernororenko noted that the service will allow you to choose a position that will fit skills and experience, and both combat and non -combat positions will be available.
