Russia brought on IDEX 2023 "defeated" drones "cube" but not praised "lanceotes"

American expert Samuel Bendett noted that the "Cuba" repeatedly brought the Russians, missing or not exploding. Russia has presented at IDEX and Navdex exhibitions in Abu Dab (Arab Emirates) its export drum drones "Kub-Bla" from Zala Group. Defense News said that they were wrong with them. Analysts point out that Russia has introduced much more of its military products at the exhibition than it was expected of international sanctions due to invasion of Ukraine.

In a separate pavilion, 7 Russian manufacturers have placed a large number of equipment. Among them were the export model "CUB" from the Zala Group group, which are part of the Kalashnikov State Defense Concern. The expert from the American Navy Center, Samuel Bendett, noted that Russian troops use the "CUB" much less often than the well-known Dron Kamikadze "Lancet". The latter "dominates" headlines and is represented by the Russians as an effective weapon.

But the "CUB" has repeatedly disgraced its manufacturers at the beginning of a full -scale invasion of Ukraine. The network posted shots as these drones missed the target or fell in residential areas without exploding. In a comment to the Defense News, Kalashnikova representative said they were chosen to demonstrate CUB because Lancet is more in size and more difficult to deliver to a short exhibition.

The publication suggests that Russia has arrived in the UAE to strengthen ties with countries that did not impose sanctions against it. However, it is not even listed on the Conference's website as an official state. Ukraine also participates at the IDEX 2023 exhibition in 2023. UKRSPECSYSTEMSEMTEX and the National Association of Defense Industry of Ukraine brought drones that showed themselves in the war, including the RAM II and AIist-100 models.
