The plane fell to the ground during a training flight. The command called a technical malfunction. On the territory of the Rostov region of the Russian Federation, which borders with Ukraine, on October 9, a Russian bomber Su-24 collapsed. The press service of the Southern Military District stated that the crew of the aircraft was performing a training flight without an ammunition.
According to preliminary data, the cause of the incident was the technical malfunction of the Su-24, which fell into the field during the landing event. The crew managed to catapult. We will remind, on October 1 in the Crimea at the Belbek air base there was an explosion: the aircraft rolled over the runway and exploded. It was later revealed that, most likely, the invaders lost the MIM-31K plane with a hypersonic rocket "Dagger" on board.
