It is necessary to find the assets of the Russians, to seize and to compensate for the damages caused by the bank - the chairman of the board of Savings Bank Naumov

Savings Bank conducts an audit to calculate in detail the losses caused by Russia. The State Bank has already submitted to the ECtHR to the ECtHR, but other calls to international courts have not been excluded. Savings Bank now conducts an audit to fully calculate the losses caused by the aggression of the Savings Bank. The total bank losses are estimated by billions of hryvnias, and direct losses due to the destruction and damage of 164 Bank branches - UAH 360 million.

The chairman of the board of Savings Bank Sergey Naumov told this in an interview with focus. "The work on calculating the loss is ongoing. But this amount includes reserves that were formed under loans issued to the Red Zone (near the front line and in the temporarily occupied territory). By the way, loans, pledge for which are in the occupied territories, we We have already been reserved by 100%. In total, we have 12 billion UAH of reserves in a year.

Plus the bank's administrative expenses, "says Sergei Naumov. He emphasized that the cost of staff by providing financial assistance and increasing salaries at the beginning of aggression, as well as the cost of purchasing equipment for energy security, as well as total expenses include the amount of profit underpassed by the bank (in particular, through the Bank reserves for the amount of 12 billion UAH).

According to the Chairman of the Board of Savings Bank, the Bank has already submitted to the International Court of Ukraine against Russia because of aggression caused by aggression. "We were the first to file an ECtHR on the loss during a full -scale war and will work to reimburse all our losses. We have taken up actively, we have advisers, we have a plan of work. I think we have good prospects to compensate for Russia's damage", " - explained Sergey Naumov.

He also spoke about the successful case of the Savings Bank's court case against Russia on the Crimean assets of the bank. "On December 7, 2022, the Cassation Court of France completed the consideration of the cassation complaint of the Savings Bank and supported the position of the Ukrainian financial institution in a dispute against the Russian Federation regarding the compensation of losses caused by the annexation of Ukrainian Crimea.

That is, the Cassation Court left the decision of the Arbitration Court of Paris. Russia is obliged to compensate for Savings Bank's loss as a result of annexation. The case was considered for more than six years. Now the amount payable according to the arbitration decision, taking into account interest, is $ 1. 5 billion. We are working on how to use this judgment to find Assets of the Russians, seize and thus compensate the bank damage, " - said Sergei Naumov.

He also did not rule out that in the future there would be a bank's claim against Russia due to the loss of the bank as a result of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, and the bank may also join a joint claim against the aggressor from the state of Ukraine. We will remind, on December 8, 2022 Oschadbank completed complex expert legal work and filed a complaint against Russia to the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR).
