Until enemy drones arrived: as a military to check if the remedies work (photo)

According to a specialist in radio technologies Sergey Beskrest, servicemen may not even suspect that their tuberculosis systems have failed. In Ukraine, they showed a device that can easily check the serviceability of portable electronic wrestling (HRV). The relevant photo was posted by a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a specialist in radio technologies Sergey Beskrestnov in his Telegram.

According to Sergiy Beskrest, the tank systems of the EW to combat drones often do not work, and the military may not even suspect it until it is too late. You can use a simple device that has recently been developed to check. The green square on the screen signals that the rebe works, red - indicates a malfunction. You can analyze each frequency range separately. According to the military, not all infantrymen know how to use the Tinysa spectrum analyzer.

In turn, the mentioned device is very easy to use - you just need to approach the meter to the remedy. The planned cost of such a device is 4 thousand hryvnias, the developer has thought whether to produce it. "One thing is enough for a unit to check all the rebves once a day," said Sergei Beskrestnov. The development was evaluated by the Canadian OSINT Analysis Danielr on the social network X.

He noted that Reb means work in difficult combat conditions, so they can be damaged or broken, for example, cables are torn, modules of obstacles are bursting, switches break, and the battery fails. A common spectrum analyzer connected to an antenna, such as the Tinysa device, is a common tool for checking. However, the spectrum analyzers are not so easy to operate and the military needs to be used to use them in advance.

In turn, the device proposed by the Ukrainian military can be used by fighters without special training. The analyst noted that the body of the apparatus is probably printed on a 3D printer. It can also see a recharge port and a small screen. The device measures the power of the HRB in five different frequency ranges, but according to the expert, it is not sensitive enough to detect drones.

"A nice feature is that this tool can also show a simple spectrum for more careful quality check and adjustment," the expert emphasized. We will remind, in an interview of May 15, Sergey Beskrestnov said that the forces of Ukraine's defense of Ukraine are critically lacking the systems of EW at the front. At the same time, "Okopni" tools of EW and other small systems for the fight against hostile drones in Ukraine are produced only by private entrepreneurs.
