Andor's premiere. History of Revolutionaries-Grabbers are the best "star wars" since Lucas
Andor's series far from myth, but as close as possible to rigid psychological realism with a lot of processed details, as in American socio-determined masterpieces "French Liaison" (1971) or "Mississippi in fire" (1988)-only against the background of cosmic scenery. The authors made an unexpected trick that can be briefly characterized: now we will show how everything really was.
"Andor" is a full -length painting "The Rebel One" (2016), which tells of Kassian Andor before he formed a revolutionary from Gopnik and Podidydid. In addition, Diego Luna actor played his hero's "rebel" when he was older by five - compared to what he is in Andori. In the Universe, George Lucas, where eternal confusion with temporary episodes is not surprised. And truly impressed by the shower and screenwriter Tony Gilroy ("Borrow Identification"), who completely changed George Lucas's style.
From the mix of fantasy and fantasy, he removed the second component - including the laser swords of the Jedi and strength - both dark and light. Everything here is as realistic as possible - and only at the physical level. There is not even a hint of magic. Therefore, with fantasy poorly: it is a ram with four horns, then a surgeon with four hands - that's all the mutants.
But the movie is full of dozens of interesting details of everyday life, and all the characters are perfectly spelled out, we see a gallery of expressive characters: an experienced recidivist thief, a dull police officer with a strong-willed mom, a scammer with a good heart, a smug of a top rank. He leads a double life, solid cops.
And all this - against the backdrop of panoramas of different planets, devoid of romantic Flery, as well as space stations and machines - all this is technically perfect, but with references to our reality today. For example, you can observe the aircraft modification of the Rolls Royce-it, of course, belongs to the imperial senator. Clear directing, deliberate everyday life, accuracy of colors. Instead of witchcraft - social fantasy.
The lowlands are planetary natives, the middle segment-cops, workers, artisans, then officers-imperials, riding-a family of senators. Even the work is presented with maximum documentation. The viewer in the course of the action is easily switched throughout the social scale: up and down, watching the development of the plot. We see how the revolution is born and why.
This topic is close to Ukraine because of our northern neighbor - with a growing pseudo -imperfection, which causes the war and now they are forced to solve the Armed Forces. As for the twisting of nuts in Russia, such a process in the galactic empire gives a clear explanation of the revolutionary-i-shaped revolutionary: "Methods and pace of oppression were changing so quickly that we did not notice how increasingly lost freedom until it remained at all.
" Here is the main motive-why such different people were in the deivers of sabotage, whose task is to devastate the imperial monetary repository. They often quarrel, barely rubbed to each other. It is hired by Andor Lutan Rael, a member of the Insurgent Alliance, who works as an anticipal - a supplier of space rare and amazing things for rich imperial clients. Lutan is a young, powerful man who is able to conquer anyone. In his role - the incomparable Swedish actor Stellan Scashhord, whose Boris Shcherbina, chairman of the Commission on the Elimination of the Consequences of the Chernobyl accident - simply cut sparks in the Chernobyl iconic series (2019).
Scashhord here perfectly depicts the two hypostasis of his hero: a hard underground leader of the rebels and a cordial antiquary merchant. The series and fantasy are a little, but there is a fantastic powerful effect. Perhaps this is the right tactical move: the June series of the Star Wars Universe-Obi-Wan Kenobi-after a bright social fantasy at the start, a child-friendly limb, where the fantasy elements of Lucas (dark and light side of force) were brought to nonsense parodies.
According to the atmosphere, Andor's series is close to American social dramas about the 1960s and 1970s, such as "French Liaison" (1971) or "Mississippi in fire" (1988) with Gin Hecman: a harsh reality that requires difficult decisions, which should be adopted extremely quickly. This is attractive to the viewer, who, at least, is completely immersed in what is happening.
