The beginning of a full -scale invasion of Metinvest has directed 7. 5 billion UAH to the help of Ukraine and its citizens. Of these, 4 billion UAH were allocated for the needs of the army, within the framework of the Militar Initiative "Rinat Akhmetov's steel front". This is stated in the company report, writes Telegraf. The company, together with the Armed Forces, creates lines of defense: more than 200 km of fortifications have already been built in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhya.

They were completed with 43 "hiding places" - underground shelters that are produced at metinvest enterprises. Metinvest's work and other steel products that are transmitted for the needs of the army. Among them are mine-shades, protective screens to counteract FPV-Drome, lancet catches, ammunition plates and armor to protect front-line cars.

And from the metal that supplies Metinvest-SMC free of charge, the Bagi mobile machines are made for the defenders-almost 150 units have now been sent to the front. In order to strengthen the defense capability of the Armed Forces, the company has established systematic supply to the front of equipment and equipment: reconnaissance drones, military optics, communication equipment, reserve power systems, cars of various purposes, in particular, specialized "fast", high -speed boats and more.

Metinvest is currently the largest army donor among private companies. Currently, more than 8,000 Metinvest staff and its joint and associates serve in the Armed Forces. More than 1000 people have already returned from the front and got to work at enterprises. In order to support defenders on the path of adaptation to civilian life, Metinvest introduces a comprehensive reintegration ecosystem.

The company also invites veterans to employment: 4,000 vacancies in engineering and technical specialties have been opened for this purpose. Helping the country in war, Metinvest is already making plans for the future. The company presented a "steel dream" - the concept of reconstruction of housing and social infrastructure.
