Future by AI and Robotics: What Drones "Wild Hornets" create for the Armed Forces (photo)

In addition to the standard FPV-punks, volunteers produce drones-bombers, multifunctional UAVs "Queen of Hornets", drone with AI, as well as drones that perform the function of air defense. The Ukrainian Wild Horne volunteer team creates unmanned aerial vehicles for the defense forces of Ukraine, which allow the military to perform a number of tasks. The developers told the details in an interview with Euronews.

It is reported that there are about 25 engineers capable of producing about 100 drones a day in the Wild Hornets. According to the participants of the organization, drones help to keep the front line "and even more. " "Without drones, the front line in Dnipro or Zaporozhye would move much forward. Drones can be used for defense and offensive operations," the team member Ivan said.

"Wild Hornets" produce different types of FPV-aules, including a standard model, capable of carrying a payload weighing 1. 5-3 kg and accelerating up to 160 kilometers per hour. These UAVs are used as Kamikadze. In addition, the company produces drones-bombarders that discharge explosives that can be used repeatedly. Among them are multifunctional large UAVs "Queen of Hornets", capable of carrying up to 9. 5 kg for a distance of up to 30 kilometers.

These drones also deliver military food and other cargoes. Drones with artificial intelligence (AI) also play an important role in the modern war. According to volunteers, some of these drones can fly autonomously and detect targets at a distance of 300 to 400 meters. "Wild Hornets" use a system built on the Ukrainian microcomputer, independent of Chinese components, which can track several goals at the same time, distinguishing between people and equipment.

"Depending on the task, these drones can affect goals through manual choice, preliminary choice, or experimental tasks, which makes them effective tools for combat tests," Ivan notes. At the same time, Ivan emphasized that FPV-punks with artificial intelligence are not capable of distinguishing a Russian soldier from Ukrainian, so it is likely that the operator will always be involved in one form or another. The company also creates drones that perform air defense (air defense).

These are drones that can affect other drones, such as Russian reconnaissance UAVs and shock "Shahda". According to Ivan, the drones will increasingly displaced traditional vehicles from the battlefield. According to him, the war in Ukraine showed that the future by artificial intelligence and robotics.

Recall that FPV-non-Spouse of Defense Forces of Ukraine actively resist such devices as "Orlan", Zala, SuperCam, which are used by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the front lines and in temporarily occupied territories. The UAVs, which were able to hit the Mi-8 helicopter in the Kursk region, were also a major breakthrough in Ukrainian drono. At the same time, in Russia continue to look for a method that will prove effective against Ukrainian anti-aircraft FPV-oules.
