The forces of unmanned systems (SBS) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were received by universal fiber -fiber modules "Silkiv Gora", designed for installation on drones. The whole infrastructure required for flight is a land module, three cables, glasses, remote, screen. "The crews who use this drone for the first time do not feel any difference when used," the story reads. To date, the SBS is already using the third generation of "silkworm". For a range of 20 kilometers, a 15-inch apparatus is used. "The problem today is because the enemy has priority in the use of fiber -optic drones on the battlefield, and our task is to get out and improve in the amount and quality of the use of these products," the SBS noted.

To improve the maneuverability of drones, the developers added an extension cord to release the fiber. It allows the operator to unfold the UAV, almost without feeling the difference with the usual radio -controlled drone. According to the SBS, "shelfworm" works not only in the air - the military already has a successful experience in the use of these modules on land robotic complexes.
