Why can the military delay payments: a detailed explanation
Soldiers receive 6,000 hryvnias, cadets of military schools-2 350 hryvnias, and instructors earn from 15 to 30 thousand hryvnias. In addition, servicemen are entitled to additional payments for the features of the service and secrecy. Supplements are also provided for those who have a scientific or scientific degree, as well as have honorary or sports titles.
Under martial law, servicemen receive not only monthly cash, but also additional remuneration, which can be 30, 50, 70, or 100 thousand hryvnias. The Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 168 establishes the amount of additional cash payments for servicemen per month: servicemen, as a rule, receive their salary for bank cards.
Payments are made in two stages, similar to how it is done for employees: first pays (from 5 to 15th of the month), and then the principal amount (from the 25th to the beginning of the next month). However, specific terms may vary depending on the military units and the kind of troops.
The delay of payments to servicemen can occur for several reasons: delays in payments may also occur because the salary immediately includes additional payments related to participation in hostilities or staying in the area of active fighting. This takes time to reconcile such payments. We will remind, in Ukraine launched a chat bot for servicemen, servicemen and their families "Army+" in the Telegram messenger.
