Ukrainian MiG-29 struck the positions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation by dropping 8 bombs GBU-39 (video)

The military claim that the use of eight aircraft at the same time allows to strike several objects that are at a considerable distance from each other. This increases the overall efficiency of the air strike. The MiG-29 Fighter of Ukraine struck the positions of the Russian occupation troops, dropping at once eight precision airbots GBU-39 SDB. The staff of this combat operation was published on November 4 in the Telegram channel "Sunflower", known to the Ukrainian military aviation.

According to the channel, the impact fell on the accumulation of assault groups and places of storage of ammunition in the Zaporozhye region. The operation was attended by the MiG-29, which is in service with the 114th Brigade of Tactical Aviation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The video shows the moment of simultaneously resetting all eight ammunition and the subsequent footage of targets on Earth.

The publication also states that the use of eight aircraft at the same time allows you to strike several objects that are at a considerable distance from each other, which significantly increases the tactical capabilities of Ukrainian aviation. Ukraine's Air Force continues to use high-precision American AirBunds GBU-39 SDB, demonstrating their efficiency in battles.

This type of ammunition belongs to the class "Small Diameter Bomb" (small diameter bombs), which makes it unique to defeat terrestrial purposes from a long distance and allows to minimize the threat to the carrier. GBU-39 SDB weighs 113 kg and has a design that allows both the external pendants and in the internal compartment of the aircraft, which reduces the overall visibility of the machine and improves its aerodynamic characteristics.

The main elements of the equipment include: this airbag is capable of affecting protected objects with high accuracy and can penetrate through 5-foot concrete shelters. The range of its use exceeds 100 km, which allows aircraft to dump bombs, being outside the enemy's air defense area.

Optimized management and alignment of the trajectory before the blow increase penetration and affection, which makes GBU-39 SDB especially effective in the conditions of urban war, with the support of ground troops and struck by aerodromes, armored vehicles and fire points. At the same time, it is less effective during strokes on deep bins and large infrastructure. Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian MiG-29 was equipped with AASM Hammer aircraft.
