The significant destruction of the city's construction fund is evidenced by satellite images, DEEPSTATE analysts report. The surviving houses still remain in the southern part of the city, but they are also endangered due to the high intensity of shelling. City battles continue in Volchansk, although the dynamics gradually began to fall. Analysts for comparison demonstrated a satellite shot of occupied Donetsk.
The city's housing stock has not changed over the last 10 years, although Russian propaganda and "purchased European politicians and artists" have been saying the opposite. The Donetsk airport and surrounding houses were destroyed, but even in 2022, the rest of the city periodically felt only departures. Deepstate noted that Russian invaders often use residential areas of Donetsk to cover their artillery payments.
