"Mean war": China threatens Taiwan attack in case of attempting to "disconnect"

According to Taiwan's government government speaker, Chen Binhua, mainland China will not tolerate or show condescension to Taipei if he dare to steps in favor of his independence. China expresses a willingness to provide great opportunities for peaceful reunification with Taiwan, but strictly opposes any manifestations of "separatist" activity aimed at achieving the island's independence. This was stated by the Speaker of the Government of China in Taiwan Chen Binhua, CgTN reports.

It is noted that mainland China will not tolerate and will not show condescension to the forces that support Taiwan's independence, if they attempt to move in the direction of separation of the island. The authorities also recalled the Antiseparatist Law of the PRC, which refers to Beijing's right to use "non -vernacular means" if Taiwan takes steps to separate from China. "I want to emphasize that the attempt to proclaim Taiwan's Independence will mean war," Binhua said.

According to him, several representatives of the Democratic Progressive Party of Taiwan "distort facts in order to reduce the level of danger of separatist activity aimed at achieving Taiwan's independence. " This, in his opinion, is designed to mislead voters before the upcoming election of the leadership of the island next year.
