In Russia presented a plane-Dron C-76: what tasks he will perform (video)

The new Russian UAV of vertical take -off and planting is capable of carrying a load weighing up to 200 kg up to 500 km, the developers say. The Russian United Aviation Corporation (UAC), which is part of the State Corporation of Rostekh, presented the unmanned C-76 (BTL-PAB) for the forum "Army-2024" Army-2024. This is stated in the official Telegram-channel of the manufacturer.

According to the head of the project and the chief designer Yevgeny Rubtsov, the C-76 combines the capabilities of the aircraft and helicopter. Lifting motors placed on the wing beams allow UAV to carry out vertical rise and planting. After take -off, the gasoline engine enters, and the presence of wings increases fuel efficiency. Language, flight and landing do not need a person, but in an emergency, the operator can change the route.

According to the manufacturer, the aircraft can perform logistics, research and other missions throughout the Russian Federation, including the most inaccessible regions. The drone does not require specially prepared sites and aerodrome infrastructure for take -off and landing. It is reported that the C-76 vertical takeoff system has already passed the first flight tests. The developers are now testing both basic technical solutions and key technologies of BTL PAB project.
