Skynex Analog: Polish weapons have decided to use the UAV Ship Garmaty
The system will be intended for "kinetic impact on drones" and will be based on the chassis of trucks of Polish production Jelcz, and as the main weapon is planned to use a 35-mm ship's artillery installation. Marek Boreyko, President of Pit-Radwar, told this in an interview with Defense24. According to him, such weapons systems are extremely important in the modern battlefield, and the experience of fighting in Ukraine testifies.
"Ukrainian experience shows that non -ine communications and navigation disorders, against drones with fiber optic or with elements of operational automation, are not effective. And today kinetic and artillery systems remain a major element of military protection," Boreiko said. As for the characteristics of the new system, it is only known about the general details of the new development.

In the meantime, it remains only to assume what the system will look and function. According to Boyk, the decision to use the 35mm gun is conditioned by its accuracy, as well as the use of new programmable ammunition. In addition, the complex will be equipped with elements of detection, support of goals and fire management. In general, experts added, Polish weapons seek to create a domestic analogue of the famous Skynex system.
Although many questions about the capabilities of the system should be answered by its presentation at the exhibition, the desire to create such a setting is probably caused by the fact that the Polish forces were unable to impress the Russian "Shahaned", referring to "adverse weather conditions".
