The Russian military contingent has completely left the legitimate territory of Azerbaijan. Peacemakers have been in Karabas for almost 4 years. On Wednesday, June 12, the process of withdrawing the peacekeeping contingent of the Russian Federation, which was temporarily stationed in the Karabakh, which controls the official Baku, finally ended. The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan reports about it.

As it is noted, the personnel, weapons and equipment of the peacekeeping contingent left the territory of the country. The contingent of the Russians was located here since November 2020 after the Second Karabas War between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The total number of Russian peacekeeping contingent was 1960 servicemen of the 15th Separate Rifle Brigade of the Central Military District with Rifle Weapons.

The mission was equipped with 90 armored personnel carriers, 380 units of automotive and special equipment, 4 Mi-8 helicopters and the same Mi-24, 7 UAVs.
