The ships of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation for a long time reflected from launching rocket weapons towards Ukraine. The command representative noted that after the destruction of one of their rocket boats, the Russians made some conclusions. According to Pletenchuk, Russian ships have not recently not performed rocket shooting from the Black Sea. They are actually engaged in the protection of bases and conducting educational measures for the maritime staff.

"Most likely, they have finally summarized the loss of rocket launcher and given that they have a" school year "are likely to return to the usual practice, that is, the performance of training and combat tasks," Pletenchuk said. There are currently 14 Russian ships in the sea, mainly in the eastern part of the Black Sea. Two frigates - "General Essen" and "Admiral Makarov" - can be armed with up to 8 rockets of "Caliber". After the incident with the rocket launcher, the Russian military conducted a number of consultations and analyzes. As a result, the learning process was temporarily suspended, which is uncharacteristic of the Black Sea Fleet. However, after taking appropriate safety measures, the ships resumed exits into the sea. Pletenchuk explained that these exits are mainly related to preventive measures, as the Russian military is changing the location of the fleet base.
