Bakhmut fighting: how the Armed Forces improved drones to knock the Russians out of Andriyivka

The tactics of launch also play a huge role, which has managed to drive the Russians 15 km from the village. In particular, modified drones of Kamikadze and reconnaissance drones helped the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Armed Forces) to liberate the village of Andreevka due to the fact that unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) could penetrate into the rear of the Russians, bypassing the means of radio electronic struggle. ABC News tells about it in the great material.

Fighters from the unit headed by the Gioconda call sign, were told to American journalists that success was not easy - only after three months of attempts and mistakes it was possible to find a "key" to the RB of the Russians. To do this, drone operators used special firmware (changing UAV software) and modification of their drones so that the electronic fighting systems could not notice them.

The role of launch tactics also played - drones were released in unison and even acted swarm, which allowed the operators to send UAV to the front line to the enemy. According to a representative of the battalion, who repelled the village, the explosion of the drone played a key role because it forced the Russians to take heavy weapons for about 15 km to stay out of the area of damage. Of course, the occupiers also learn from their mistakes and are now hiding more carefully.

However, they can be seen in the shadows in the afternoon. Slawing a huge area in search of a target takes several hours, our drone operators say. But as the counter -confidence of the Russians began to equip their positions with a large number of "muffins" and mobile remedies. Therefore, the Gioconda unit has to constantly change tactics and find new moves to attack the enemy from the air.

The fighters point out that the use of drones, even because they are often knocked down, is much more profitable than the use of expensive missiles or high -precision artillery shells. Volunteers from the Gioconda group, including ordinary managers and cinematographers, spending $ 700,000 drones, destroying the Russians' hostile technique by $ 80 million. Earlier, Focus reported that the Ukrainian Oko-9 Raznik had first climbed into the air.
