At least 10,000 Ukrainian military officials can be held captive by Russian invaders. This was stated by Natalia Epifanova, the head of the public organization "Voyatsky Devil" on April 6.

At the same time, as the head of the organization noted, at least 10 thousand people can be held. "The scale of this problem is very large . . . Information about the number of Ukrainian military soldiers is still hidden for some reason. We have approximate data. That is, the minimum, but how much is maximum, we cannot say.

According to our estimates, it is more than ten thousand captives in the message. This figure can be much larger, but clearly no less. Only in Mariupol, as Natalia Epifanov noted, about 5 thousand people were captured, and about the number of such in Kyiv, Kherson, Donetsk, Luhansk regions can only guess. "They are constantly captured, so this problem should be solved at the state level," said the head of the NGO.

Relatives of military and missing soldiers of the Armed Forces expect that international partners, Foreign Ministry, Ministry of Justice and other agencies will raise the issue of returning Ukrainian defenders. We will remind, on April 4, representatives of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense declared that Ukraine has returned 2005 people from the Russian captivity since the beginning of the war.
