Zelensky noted that Ukraine does not want Russia to destroy its presence as a single diplomatic initiative aimed at ending the war.
He emphasized that, based on experience, it is clear that in respect of all peace initiatives, which, according to the President, will be fair, the Russian Federation will try to do everything so that they do not exist. "We checked it at hundreds of meetings, and I tell the truth, since more than 100 meetings took place in the Minsk process during the Norman formats," the Head of State stated. Zelensky noted that many countries will probably come to the Swiss summit - more than 80.
In his opinion, this meeting will be effective. In any case, as the president says, by three points under which Ukraine and allies will reach the agreement. "If the whole world agrees that it is fair, then we will find a format, how to make it so that Russia goes to it. I am sure that there will be strong countries that can politically deduct the Russian Federation," the head of Ukraine stated.
And he reminded how it was already with a grain initiative - Ukraine did not allow Russia to block it, developed further together with Turkey and UN Secretary General Antonium Guterres, and then handed over the Russian Federation through Turkish intermediaries and UN representatives. And it worked for a long time, though not for the whole time, but given that there were only two intermediaries on the Ukrainian side - Turkey and the UN, the President emphasized.
Therefore, Zelensky believes that if there are 100 countries in Ukraine in Ukraine, if they see that all agreed points are fair, then the whole world can be pressed on Russia. Then, after the first summit, Ukraine and the Allies will realize that there is a common vision of the points for which they converge.
"Then we can refine other points in the end of the war if there will be countries that really want peace and demand from the Russian Federation of just peace," Zelensky stated from the Russian Federation. In this way, a document with all the issues resolved, with the vision of both Ukraine and the countries that support it will be prepared. And there will be both a moment and countries that will negotiate with representatives of the aggressor state.
