Work during the War: What experts do employers need

The labor market in Ukraine continues to function in difficult conditions of wartime. The State Employment Service told what work can now be offered to Ukrainians. Ukrainian business continues to work and develop even in war. Demand is increasing for labor. Thus, as of the end of September 2023, the largest demand in the labor market of Ukraine is kept for qualified representatives of the working professions and trade workers. On September 26, the State Employment Service reports.

According to the State Structure data, the most active on a single vacancy portal is offered work: the maximum wage in the vacancies offered on the portal is: high salary employers also offer experienced skilled workers who are ready to perform difficult tasks or those who agree to work in special conditions. According to the Civil Service of Employment, employers want to hire people: as of September 25, 2023, there were 65 thousand current vacancies in the database of the state structure.

The average salary in vacancies that employers submit to the employment service is UAH 11 thousand. This amount is willing to pay: we will remind, on September 15, 2023 the Cabinet of Ministers approved the state budget project for the next year. The government is known to raise the subsistence level from January 1 to UAH 2,920. The minimum wage will also increase - to 7 100 UAH.
