EU sanctions are against Russian military and technical companies. The block proposes to punish more than 100 individuals and legal entities. Offers include firms that deliver ammunition from North Korea. The European Union proposed to impose sanctions against about 55 companies and more than 60 people under a new package of measures up to two years from the moment of large -scale invasion of Russia into the territory of Ukraine. According to the documents that the representatives of the agency have acquainted, the restrictions will be related to individuals and firms. It is about weapons production and the supply of key electronics and technologies used by Russian defense companies to create weapons. Proposals that need support for all EU countries before they are approved will also relate to transport companies that provided transportation and logistics for the delivery of ammunition from North Korea to Russia.

The DPRK provided hundreds of thousands of artillery shells to Russia. Earlier, Bloomberg reported that a package of sanctions, which will be 13th since the invasion, would be limited. A group of Member States calls on the block to be more ambitious and add new economic sanctions.

The current proposals also include the addition of several military and other officials, politicians, including Alexei Dumin, the former security guard of the Kremlin head Vladimir Putin and the current governor of Tula region, and directors of companies to the sanctions lists.
