150 Leopard and more air defense systems for Ukraine: the first results of "Ramstein-10"

As part of the Ramstein meeting, it has been announced that SAMP/T, Patriot, and more than 150 LOOPARD tanks from the growing international coalition would be received to Ukraine. On March 15, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin reported an increase in the number of countries that undertake to strengthen the Ukrainian air defense system, and 9 other countries plan to transfer more than 150 Leopard tanks to Ukraine.

This was learned within the virtual meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine (Ramstein-10). "The coalition of the LEOPARD tanks to Ukraine continues to grow. "In total in the last three months, members of this contact group have demonstrated excellent leadership in increasing the opportunities that Ukraine needs to protect its sovereignty, and to create a momentum on the battlefield," Austin said. According to Pentagon chairman, in February, at the previous meeting in Ramstein format, Italy and France also reported that the SAMP/T-Mamba anti-aircraft missile complex will be transferred to Ukraine.
