Russia will lose even more techniques: experts explained why the GEKATA complex required the Armed Forces
The Armed Forces of Ukraine have argued many times that they can destroy the occupiers, causing strokes for purposes in the deep rear. For example, a video confirmation of the lesion of the Russian anti-aircraft missile system S-3008 has recently appeared at a distance of about 70 km from the front line.
Such distant blows are possible due to qualitative intelligence, and to make the Armed Forces more often on the expensive technique of Russians, they need more different means that can find equipment and weapons. Gekata has to perform exactly the following tasks. The complex is capable of detecting various hostile systems, such as radar stations, radio electronic struggle and air defense, as well as planes, analyzing their signals.
According to the Defense Express director of the NPC "Infirmit", which stands on the development of the system, the company creates the signal base of Russian equipment so that the military can immediately use it when they receive Gekata. The Gekata Complex consists of six Ukrainian PD-2 drones of UkrsPecsystems, which are equipped with a special container with equipment for radio intelligence, as well as one land control station.
The complete set will allow to track the front area of 100 km long. The scanning range is 450 km, which allows drone to catch the signals of Russians in the entire occupied territory of Ukraine, including Crimea and remain unattainable for Russian means of PP. For example, a drone with equipment on board can fly 200 km to the front line, and Gekata will still "see" the enemy's rear up to 250 km.
The RTR equipment itself does not emit any signals, so it remains invisible in the radio electronic spectrum. The technology will allow the Armed Forces to track up to 200 goals at the same time, and data, transmitting data in real time or stored on internal media, so as not to disturb radio.
Only one operator can manage the work of such a complex, compared to the ground complexes of the RTR, the system consumes much less electricity, as well as very mobile, and it can be quickly prepared for work. It is worth noting that PD-2 drones have been used for a long time and successfully, including VTOL version (vertical take-off and landing), which allows you to run the devices from almost anywhere without a runway.
