The hearing in the Russian court took place on October 28, which considered the astronomical amount of a fine with 36 zeros for non -compliance with Google Court, which obliged the company to restore access to the blocked accounts of Russian media on YouTube. Previously, the court ordered Google to execute this decision for nine months, imposing a fine of 100 thousand rubles for each day, which is doubled weekly before account recovery. There is no restriction on the maximum amount of the fine. The list of "victims" includes such Russian channels as "Star", "First Channel", VGTRK, "TV channel 360", NTV, as well as IP Simonyan MS, which represents the YouTube channel of the Russian propaganda Margarita Simonian.

The Russian media courts from Google began in 2020, when YouTube blocked the accounts of TV channels "Tsargrad" and "RIA Fan" because of violation of sanctions legislation (owners of these resources have been under US sanctions since late 2014), and after Russia's invasion of Ukraine in Ukraine February 2022 The platform closed access for the rest of the state channels of the Russian Federation.
