Another ship, Seacharm oil tanker, was damaged near the Turkish port of Jajan: there were also explosions. The third case happened near the shores of Libya, when the explosions were damaged by tanker for transportation of chemicals and products "Grace Ferrum". It turned out that all these three separate incidents that took place at different times are related: all the tankers came to Russian ports before. This was reported by Reuters on February 19.
"All three vessels have recently entered Russian ports," the publication said. Reuters received this information based on ship tracking data and own sources. According to them, concern is increased among the representatives of the navigable industry because of the number of incidents in the Mediterranean. Over the last decades, similar cases in the central part of the maritime space, which would be linked to civilians, not military, vessels, have not been recorded.
At the same time, the reasons why the explosions have occurred are still unknown. Representatives in the field of navigation and safety in the Mediterranean have not yet reported that the explosions on all three ships have caused. It is only known that the causes of explosions on the SEAjewel ship are currently being investigated: investigators say that a malfunction or an explosive device may be caused.
We will add that the seajewel tanker, which was damaged in northern Italy, belongs to the sides of the "shadow" fleet of Russia. He has repeatedly transported Russian oil secretly, bypassing the sanctions that were imposed on the state due to a full -scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine. The details of the tanker himself and the investigation data carried out by experts were told in separate material on February 18.
