At the same time, the army of the Russian Federation has lost 1750 soldiers, 18 armored vehicles, five tanks and 63 UAVs of the operative-tactical level. Thus, probably, the Russian army abandoned Pokrovsk's frontal storm. The enemy forces try to bypass the city from south to west, seeking to block the logistics paths and move to the borders of Dnipropetrovsk region.

According to the sources of "Ukrainian Truth" among the military, including the commander of the 108th separate mechanized battalion "Wolves Da Vinci" Sergei Filimonov, Russian troops directed the main efforts towards the settlements of Kottelina and lucky located on the Route of Mezhova-Pokrovsk. "It was obvious. The Russians want to trim logistics and take the city without a fight," Filimon said.
