Whose missiles have fallen in Poland: what Ukraine should demand

From Ukraine, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky insists that it was not Ukrainian missiles and demands not only evidence, but also admit to the investigation of Ukrainian representatives. Our allies in the war against Russia are increasingly confidently declared Ukrainian missiles, although they immediately add that it is not Ukraine's guilty but Russia. First, on Tuesday night to Wednesday of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland said that a rocket was Russian descent.

Poland's authorities responded sharply and even wanted to apply Article 4 of NATO, which provides for consultations if there is a threat of territorial integrity, political independence or security. Secondly, everyone in the world has talked about a serious escalation of the situation and what the answer to NATO will be. The whole world was waiting for the official position of NATO and the US, in particular. What happened later? In my opinion, neither NATO nor the US want to conflict with Russia.

Therefore, the US President quickly stated that the probability of launching missiles from Russia is very low. The Polish authorities then reported that there was no need to apply Article 4 of NATO. Both yesterday and today are the statements of NATO member state representatives that missiles are Ukrainian, but have not yet provided real facts and arguments, although this does not mean that missiles cannot be Ukrainian.

Vladimir Zelensky's firm position that missiles are not Ukrainian, as for me, does not like the US and NATO. Therefore, Ukraine should insist and achieve the admission of Ukrainian representatives to the place of falling of the rocket, motivating it with statements that it is Ukrainian missiles.

In addition, it should be understood that NATO and the US unwillingness to conflict with Russia demonstrates a weak position of NATO, so statements are heard that this is an accident with Ukrainian missiles. We do not know how much the firm position of Ukraine in denial is, but I hope that Volodymyr Zelenskyy understands the consequences of his categorical statements. To argue with allies is not the best option, especially if they prove that the missiles are still Ukrainian.

But if the missiles are not Ukrainian, it is necessary to prove it, although it will not like it to some NATO member countries. Thus, in my opinion, Ukraine in this situation was hostage to the half of our allies, and above all the United States, who demonstrate the unwillingness to make all the necessary efforts to defeat Russia, although in words they declare it. From this situation, Ukraine has to "squeeze" everything possible.
