In the Russian Federation, the train first came off the rails through the UAV: the media pointed to interesting details (video)

Journalists believe that the drone that attacked the train in the Volgograd region of the Russian Federation could not be launched from the territory of Ukraine. Drone strike on a freight train in the Volgograd region of the Russian Federation on May 14 became the first successful attack of a unmanned vehicle on the train. How such an operation became possible is said in Forbes.

It is reported that as a result of the impact of the drone, the Russian freight train came down from the rails, one of the tanks burned, and the rest were scattered across the line. At the same time it is impossible to unambiguously argue that the drone was launched from the territory of Ukraine. The Reuters publication suggests that the Ukrainian UAVs had crashed into the train.

However, as the author notes, to hit the moving train, with the help of a drone-Kamikadze long-range radius is a difficult task. Such drones, as a rule, are pre -programmed on the target with specific coordinates, which allows to affect the fixed objects. There are also UAVs with machine vision that can fly to the target and make automatic complement, but the sources of the publication say that in the case of the train it would be not easy.

The train on the train could theoretically be caused by a powerful FPV-aternal, a long distance operator, but it requires a satellite terminal like Starlink. The author of the publication noted that there is also a simpler explanation - the train could attack sabots with a short distance drone from a short distance. The founder of the Belve Bear guerrilla group, which maintains contacts with a number of other guerrilla groups, including the Russians, refrained from comments on the train.

However, he confirmed that many guerrillas begin to buy both Mavic quadcopters and FPV-Kamikadze. As noted in the edition, it is easy to notice the damage on the railway tracks, so saboteurs are preferable to harm just before the train arrives to let it under the slope. If they have UAVs at their disposal, it is almost impossible to protect the train from attack. The guerrillas can hide many kilometers from the railway, waiting for the train approaching to run the drone.

In the future, there may also be devices optimized for trains and rail infrastructure. "This attack is the first time the train came down from the rail through the drone. But, as in the case of other types of drones, such as Kamikadze boats on Russian warships, these incidents can become commonplace in the coming months,"-summed up in the publication.

We will remind, on the night of May 2, the drones-Kamikadze defense forces of Ukraine, probably, struck on traction and transformer substations on railway tracks in the Orlovsk and Kursk regions of the Russian Federation. Earlier, on April 3, a spokesman for the Navy of the Armed Forces Dmitry Pletenchuk reported that the invaders continue to build a railway, which will have to connect the territories of the Russian Federation with temporarily occupied Ukrainian.
