Russia wants to apply "corn" An-2 with "Lancates" on a trailer against air defense Ukraine

The idea of ​​the Russians is to use old An-2 aircraft as unmanned counterfeit goals to overload Ukrainian air defense. According to the available data, the idea now exists only as a concept. In addition to turning the attention of the air defense, the design should expose their location or even dispose of. For this purpose it is proposed to accompany the AN-2 drones "Lancet". The aircraft should fly over 4 km to provoke medium and long -range SPRs.

To save Lancet energy, it should be powered by a plane, which is planned to use the cable. At the same time, the percussion drone should move at a sufficient distance from the AN-2 in order to avoid debris in the event of a plane. Therefore, the cable-"leash" should be quite long. The aircraft itself can also be redesigned under Dron Kamikadze or bomber. As an option, according to the same scheme for the AN-2, the drone of observation should also move.

Similar plans rely on a large number of AN-2 in Russia. According to the Russians, they have 1400 "corn". There are no problems with spare parts: they are still made in China. In addition, the aircraft is quite easy to maintain. But the idea of ​​combat use of the AN-2 is not new. As drones, they had already used Azerbaijan in 2020 - however, without "trailers".
