Training Culmination: Armed Forces fighters complete training on SAMP/T SHRC

Practical training classes will be conducted at a special landfill in Salto di Quirra, which is located on the Italian island of Sardinia. Ukrainian Air Force Air Force military personnel complete training at SAMP/T anti-aircraft missile complexes. According to Defense Express, the fighters were included in the final stage of the training course, which was specially compressed within the minimum possible time.

At the same time, on March 19, the Italian Il Fatto Quotididiano newspaper reported that about 20 Ukrainian specialists are actively training simulators and will start practical classes in the near future. They are reported that they should go on a special landfill in Salto di Quirra, located on the Italian island of Sardinia. However, it is unknown whether training rockets will be carried out during practical classes, given their high cost. It is expected that the cost of 0.

4 - 2 million euros for the Aster missile, depending on the version, can be an obstacle to this. Another obstacle to rockets training launches is the features of their production. The fact is that, according to the French Minister of Defense Sebastian Lecorton, the entire production cycle of one Aster missile lasts for up to 40 months. This is due, first of all, to the capabilities of production capacity, although the French intend to reduce it to 18 months.

Recall that Ukraine can get the SAMP/T system, which France and Italy will be provided together. The peculiarity of the complex is that it is able to impress not only hostile aviation and winged missiles, but also ballistic missiles at a distance, according to estimates, 30 km. On March 16, the Air Force of Ukraine showed footage with the first NASAMS anti-aircraft missile complex, which was provided by Norway.
